Kaeleigh Veldboom, a Grand Rapids native, attended Grand Valley State University where she received her B.S. with a major in Psychology and minor in Criminal Justice in 2017. After taking a year to work in child welfare, Kaeleigh attended graduate school at Grand Valley where she completed her Master of Social work and obtained her clinical license in 2020.
She completed her clinical training at Grand Valley State University’s Counseling Center, where she interned as an individual and group therapist. She co-facilitated groups on substance use, body image and dialectical behavioral therapy on campus. Kaeleigh has experience working with both adolescent and adults in both clinical and inpatient hospital settings.
Kaeleigh believes in having a collaborative approach between client and therapist. She loves working alongside clients to aid them in reaching their goals and work through challenges that life gives us. She states, “emotional healing can be a difficult process and I strive to provide a safe, open space where clients can come and be their authentic self.”
